The YTU SFL Library is located on the 2nd floor of the SFL building. Students of the Department of Basic English can use the library between 09: 00-16: 30 on condition that they submit the Student Documents that they can obtain from the Student Affairs Unit of the Department of Basic English and YTU ID cards. The loans from the library will be done in line with the following conditions:
1. All students wishing to benefit from the library must show their STUDENT DOCUMENT showing their group number and YTU ID CARDs to the personnel or assistant studentsin the library.
2. The books borrowed must be received by signature and delivered in return by signature. A book loan and delivery process cannot be performed on behalf of someone else.
3. The graded readers available in the library can be borrowed up to 15 days and novels can be borrowed for up to 21 days.
4. Dictionaries and proficiency exam books (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, YDS etc.) are not loaned out of the SFL. Those who want to benefit from these books can borrow them on the condition that they return the books at the end of the working hours by submitting their Student Documents and leaving YTU ID Card with the personnel at the library.
5. It is strictly forbidden to remove the books that have not been borrowed from the YTU SFL building.
6. Disciplinary action is taken on those who attempt to remove library resources without permission.
7. Penalties / disciplinary procedures are applied to the delays in book returns / losses according to the decision taken by YTU SFL Administrative Board.
8. It is the responsibility of the users to protect their personal belongings when they are in the library. YTU SFL does not accept any responsibility for the loss or theft of special items lef tor forgotten in the library.
