August 27th-29th English Proficiency Exam

I. Session: August 27th 2019, 10:00 a.m. (DAVUTPAŞA CAMPUS)

ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE EPE (İYS) TO BE CONDUCTED ON DAVUTPAŞA CAMPUS ON AUGUST 27TH 2019:

For the new students enrolled in the 30% or 100% English departments and the students enrolled in 2017 adn 2018, The English Proficiency Exam (İYS) will be conducted on Davutpaşa Campus on August 27th 2019.

The first session of the EPE (İYS) will be conducted on Aug. 27th and the second session will be conducted on Aug. 29th; all the students are supposed to take both of the sessions. The students who do not take the first session will not be admitted to the second session.

For the newly enrolled students, the ones who get 25 or above from the first session are required to take the second session in order to be exempt from prep. class or be placed in the appropriate level. The students who do not take the exam will be placed randomly in classes and will be required to study for the whole year in the same level. The ones who get below 25 points in the first session will not be admitted to the second session of The EPE (İYS).

To be able to take the exam:

The students enrolled in 2017 and 2018 need to have:

1) Students ID cards given by YTU

and

2) Official ID cards or Drivers' licence or Passport

The newly enrolled students need to have;

1) Official ID cards or Drivers' licence or Passport.

The foreign students need to have:

1) Passport or Mavi Kart (Blue card) or Official ID cards.
